Mary Janes of course!

I'm a big fan of instant gratification.  That makes anything I can download one of my absolute favorite things! Etsy is my favorite place to shop for sewing patterns.  The directions that come with these patterns are so much easier than the ones that come commercially.  The person writing the pattern is more interested in making me understand what they are talking about than the commercial company is.   So the other day when I needed an instant gratification fix I came across the shop Winter Peach.  I'm telling you about the shop for no reason other than that the shop owner is about the nicest Etsy person I've met to date! So I had to show her some love.  Check out what I made with her Mary Janes pattern!
I've officially (mentally) moved on to fall! It's my favorite season and WAY too short, so I've decided that in my mind it is now fall and I can surround myself with the smells and colors to reinforce it. Halloween is my absolute FAVORITE holiday EVER.  I'm loving these Mary Janes as house shoes.  I'm home with the kids all day anyway, so I don't need shoes on, but these are so much fun they make me feel special.

Tip- If you make shoes like this (for yourself or your little ones) use some puffy paint on the bottoms to create a non slip surface.  You can do simple dots or get creative and write things.  I thought using glow in the dark paint and writing "BOO" on the bottoms of these would be really cute!
