Nomad Galoshes and CSN Stores Review

Not to long ago I asked for your help in choosing a color/pattern for the galoshes I was ordering from CSNstores.com.  Most of you surprised me and voted for the black and white damask ones, but in the end I went with the black and white plaid because I think they are timeless (and it might be silly, but I liked the buckle they have on the top).
CSN stores was really easy to shop.  They have over 200 different websites all in one place where you can find all kinds of different things.  I have my eye on a closet organizer that I think would make a really nice portable craft cart, but that's not what we're here for today! My Nomad galoshes were on sale with free shipping, always a plus! Checkout was very easy and even offered me the option of using paypal checkout (which I love).  One week (to the day) later my Nomad Galoshes had arrived!
What I'm loving-
They're super flexible which makes them really easy to move around in!
The inside sole of the boots is really nice and cushy so these babies are comfy.
High quality construction, you can tell they are built to last with a nice jersey lining throughout the whole inside.
Built of soft rubber I don't anticipate any cracking which can happen with lower quality boots.
Check out this tread!
They have tread like my SUV tires! You won't be slipping when you hit the mud.
They fit beautifully, I ordered my exact size and they fit very comfortably.  To big of boots make it very hard to walk in the mud! Like most rain boots they only come in full sizes, if you wear a half size I suggest ordering the next full size.
Fairly light, these boots aren't clunky or heavy like rain boots can be.
Wide selection of pattern and style.  You have to check out their cowboy boot style, too funny!
Easier to put on than a pair of skinny jeans!

What I'm not lovin'-
The inserts slip out every time you pull the boots off so you have to stuff it back in when you go to wear them next time.
The buckle is strictly for decoration (in my opinion). Loosening the buckle and strap did not give me any more room around the calf and tightening it just makes makes the material bunch up and look funky.

Will I shop at CSN Stores again? Absolutely.

Would I buy another pair of Nomad Rain boots? You bet!

What do you love about your rain boots?

  2. Great boots! Fun boots make those rainy days so much better. My rainboots are nothing to right home about but I do love my daughter's old boots.

  3. OK, I know it has nothing to do with the boots, but what's the story behind that fabulous apron? I LOVE it!! Oh, and I love the boots, too, of course. A few years ago I thought galoshes were so bizarre, but I've changed my tune. :)

  4. Here is a link to the apron, unfortunately the woman who made it said she has gotten to busy to keep up her shop. You could always try commissioning one from her with a sweet email.
